Congratulations to the Klein Oak Winter Guard on placing second at their first competition on January 19!!! Come out and support them at their next shows Feb. 9 @ Oak Ridge HS or Feb. 23 @ The Woodlands HS. Performance schedules can be obtained at the Texas Color Guard Circuit website.

Rock-a-thon on January 25. The annual Klein Oak Band rock-a-thon will be held Friday, Jan. 25 in the band hall from 4:00 PM - 12 midnight. Students received pledge forms in class on Jan. 11. Additional forms are available from the band directors. Minimum pledges received to participate must total $40. Students provided their own rocking chair.
Come see "Singin' in the Rain" presented by the Klein Oak Fine Arts Department. Klein Oak Band and Orchestra Students will be performing in the pit orchestra for the show as well as several in the cast. Performances are Feb 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 11
KOBA Meeting Feb. 4, 7:30 PM. Please plan to attend.
KISD Solo and Ensemble Contest Feb 9 @ Klein Collins HS - all Klein Oak Band students are expected to perform their assigned class ensembles. Many students will also perform solos. Entry fees for the ensembles are paid by KOBA. Entry fees for solos and fees for accompanists are paid by the individuals.
UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest Feb 22 @ Klein HS - all entry and accompanist fees are paid by the individuals performing.
Annual Percussion Concert Feb 28 in the Klein Oak HS Auditorium, 7:00 PM- If you've not ever witnessed this sort of concert you must plan to attend. There will be a great variety of music performed from the the most entertaining to the most sophisticated.
Percussion Festival @ Oak Ridge HS, March 1 Klein Oak percussionists will participate in this percussion only event.
