About the Klein Oak High School Colorguard:

In the Fall School Semester, the Colorguard performs with the Marching Band:

•   At all regular season football games,

•   Marching  Band Contests,'

•   Pep Rallies,

•   and various other events.

During the Spring School Semester, the Colorguard competes indoors, in special “Colorguard Only” Contests against other area high school colorguards. 

(You will hear this Colorguard activity referred to as, "Winter Guard")

Colorguard is a unique activity, and The Klein Oak High School Guards have enjoyed much success in recent years.

Following is a snapshot of the The Klein Oak Colorguard's recent year's accomplishments:

• 2008 Oak Ridge HS and The Woodlands HS Invitational Champions

• Cypress Springs Invitational Runner-up

• A Top 5 Finisher at the 2008 Lone Star Preview Finals

In Addition, in the Spring of 2008 the Klein Oak Colorguard was promoted  upward through 2 Classifications of  Competition , and were the only colorguard in Texas to receive this prestigious honor.

Meet Mr. Lee Turner - Colorguard Instructor

Lee Turner is the Color Guard instructor at Klein Oak High School.  He joined the staff midway through the 2007 Winterguard season and led the group to a very successful conclusion. He has marching and teaching experience with some of the best groups and teachers in the area,
