The audition results are listed in ALPHABETICAL order, not chair order.

PLEASE READ!!!!!!!

In the information packets that will be mailed next week you will receive instructions and some music that will be used for chair tests during the first few section rehearsals of summer band. These chair tests will not change your band placement but will affect the chair order of the sections within each band. You should look for the information packet to arrive at your home before June 20. If it does not arrive by mail please email Mr. Clearwater at tclearwater@kleinisd.net to let us know. We will also post the instructions and music on this website for you to download and print.

THE "FUNDAMENTALS OF INSTRUMENTALS MUSIC" CLASS IS A NON-PERFORMING BAND CLASS THAT FOCUSES ON CONQUERING INDIVIDUAL PLAYING ISSUES THAT ARE HOLDING STUDENTS BACK FROM PROGRESSING ON THEIR INSTRUMENT. STUDENTS WHO HAVE BEEN PLACED IN THE FUNDAMENTALS CLASS WILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO RE-AUDITION ON THE SAME SCALES, SAME ETUDE, AND SAME SIGHTREADING AS THE FIRST AUDITION IN ORDER TO HAVE A SECOND CHANCE TO BE PLACED IN A PERFORMING GROUP. THE RE-AUDITION WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE BAND HALL ON "BAND REGISTRATION DAY" ANYTIME BETWEEN 10:00AM AND 2:00PM ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 2ND. ANY STUDENTS WHO REMAIN IN THE FUNDAMENTALS CLASS WILL NOT PARTICIPATE IN MARCHING BAND AND WILL NOT ATTEND SUMMER BAND REHEARSALS.

If there is any issue about having a school owned instrument to practice with over the summer you may come to the band hall Monday, June 9 or Tuesday, June 10 between 9:00AM and 2:00 PM to get an instrument from Mr. Rapacki. After those dates you should email him at crapacki@kleinisd.net and wait for a return email or phone call.
