Symphonic Band

Grades will consist of the following:
Scales
Etudes
Show music
Tone

Scales will be graded on a pass/fail basis, meaning that if a student passes a scale off, they have earned a 100 for that scale. If they do not pass a scale off, they receive a 0. They will be able to replay that scale until they get a 100.

Etudes will be played for a grade. If a student is not happy with a grade they can replay the etude.

Show music must be performed by memory and with steps outs. Show music is the only assignment that will decrease in value if it is not passed off shortly after it has been assigned.
